i am a minneapolis-based student and artist dedicated to using my art to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian causes.
my art serves as a visual diary, capturing the zeitgeist through vivid expressions of emotion — especially those we often suppress. using acrylic on canvas, i aim to blend surrealism, cartoon-inspired imagery, and the uncanny, exploring themes of sri lankan identity, femme sexuality, and playful yet unsettling motifs.
apart from art, i am currently a college student majoring in psychology and sociology with a minor in public health. if all goes to plan, i will be graduating in may of 2025.
the name "exishential crisis" comes from grappling with the concept of existentialism for longer than i can remember. the feelings i cannot express with words are best described with paint.
